The Life Co-operative...That's Why We're Here

The Life Cooperative is here to help. This is what we do. Yes, we are a CSA, but what better way to support agriculture than in times like these?
This morning, I got a call from a member of the organization asking if we could help get her chickens in the spring and is there any way that we could get her some help when it warms up. The answer was yes and yes because that is what we do.

Another of our members lost his truck last night and asked if there was anything that we could do to help. We are working on it. This is what we do.
Many of the people in this group live from paycheck to paycheck. Each month or so, they find themselves on the verge of losing a family farm or having to grow something they do not want to grow in a way they do not want to grow it. This, though, is why we are here.
We are a community. We are here to help one another during times like these. No one's home was destroyed, no one passed away. There was just enough damage to some farms to keep them from getting started on time this year. There was just enough damage to put them on the course to having to working a little harder this year.
We work on the foundations of life. That's why we're here. Overall, we hope that you will help us help farmers be better farmers and growers be better growers. We do this so that these growers and many like them do not have to go to payday loan places or start Gofundme campaigns,
Here is how you can help...
Simply, you can go to the right and make a donation.
You can come out to these events and have a good time and get stuff knowing that you are helping others.
or
Become a member and help with these and other things that The Life is doing this year. Whether it is the feeling of helping others. getting better food out there, getting a t-shirt, a mug, or whatever, or even coming out for a scavenger hunt, a festival, class or more.... It all goes to the same place, building farms.
We want a pretty small goal relative to what we are doing. We want to hit $1000.00 to get a family some chickens and help one of our farmers repair a truck that he is going to need this spring.
Wanna help?
