The Atlanta Trip...What we have found in the city.

Since coming to Atlanta, we have looked for and found just what we have been looking for: resources.  We have found a lot of energy.  We have found a lot of desire to change the world, for people who want to make a difference.

Many hands make light work so we are going to take our opportunity to gather people who care and create something.  What do you have to offer?  The more people we get the more we can do.

The Atlanta Grow and Build event started as a chance for The Life Cooperative to begin to build in
the community.

We have met a number of people and added a number of people to our vendor list for the CSA.
We have found a number of farms and gardens that are in need of seeds.
We have found restaurants that are wanting to buy produce that these gardens will be raising.
We have found restaurants that are willing to donate their kitchen waste to newly formed compost piles.
We have found other people who are willing to let their lands be used for helping to create.

We have found resources.  We have found people to put their hearts and their hands and their backs into building something bigger than them.

We found people with Epoch Festivals to put on events to help pay for things...

 We found people to attend these events, like the Atlanta Silent Disco

We at the Life Cooperative are out to make the world a better place. greener, safer, healthier with some cleaner air to breathe.

In the coming weeks and months, we are going to be building a lot.  We are going to be doing homesteading classes.  We are looking for artists and other vendors to be a part of The Life and to participate at our events.

Our greatest resource is being part of a caring community.
