2017 Missions...Haiti and beyond.

Hurricane Matthew was devastating.  More than 800 people are missing and feared dead in an area that was still dealing with the after effects of an earthquake that hit in 2010.  Friends are reporting about destruction that came from the storm and all we can say is that a lot of it speaks for itself.

We have a number of missions on horizon for 2017 and Haiti holds a special promise.  The things they are going to need are exactly what we have been working on for the past two years.

2015 and 2016 have seen us put a garden in an Atlanta area school.  We have placed five beehives in southern Georgia and South Carolina.  We have purchased heritage pigs for new farmers and two cows and a bull.

All of this was just the start.  It was a start so that we can do more over the winter and be ready for the spring.

Right now we are working on plans for the spring.  We are working on how to get the seeds that we are harvesting to our friends in the south.  We are working on how to get them pigs and chickens through our 100Heritage project.

This is going to be a busy winter but it is our opportunity to put the skills that we have gained in the past 3 years to good use.

We will help our friends rebuild.

Right now, there are efforts to search and rescue; to reunite loved ones; to save lives.  We strongly encourage you to give to organizations that are helping on the ground.

In the near future and especially through the holidays, we are going to be launching a number of initiatives to led a hand  and help people rebuild their lives.  We hope that you will be a part of that.

If you have not already, join our mailing list. Soon you will see offers and deals designed so that you can support a good cause through purchases you make.
